Services
Design and drafting work for companies comes first. On request we also arrange production, and we 3D print parts.
Workshop drawings and sheet metal flat patterns
From the 3D model we produce mechanical workshop drawings. For sheet metal we calculate the flat pattern: the flat shape that is cut first and then bent.
Production through partners
Does it need to be made as well? Then we arrange production through fixed partners: steel structures, frames, stainless steel and sheet metal. You keep a single point of contact.
3D printing
We 3D print parts for companies and for private customers. Send your file with your request, for example an STL or STEP file.

Material trolley
Mobile stainless steel storage rack
A fully welded storage rack in stainless steel, made for intensive use in production, warehouses and workshops. The trolley runs on four swivel castors with brakes, so you can move it to where it is needed and lock it in place.
The central column carries angled support bars of 20 × 20 mm stainless steel tube on both sides, spread over four levels. Because of the angle, materials do not slide off the supports and stay organised and within reach.

Memorial plaque
Corten steel with cut-out lettering
A memorial plaque in corten steel, shaped like a slice of a tree trunk with a crack running up from the bottom edge. The full name, the name the person was known by, and the places and dates of birth and death are cut out of the plate. We use a stencil typeface for this: small bridges hold the inner parts of letters such as o and e in place.
Outdoors, corten steel forms a layer of rust that protects the steel underneath, so the plaque needs no paint or coating. We make it in the thickness you choose.

About 12TechDesign
12TechDesign is a one-person business run by Rens Groenewegen in Tiel, the Netherlands. Rens designs and draws in Autodesk Inventor for industry, manufacturers and small and medium-sized businesses.
He works in a practical way, with production in mind. A design should be easy to make and no more complicated than it needs to be.
